Formats, XMP and new tools

  • New format support: SubIFD tags; BPG, ADG, OFR, PAC audio, CJS and KC2; many additional Amiga and specialist file types; BRAW video and Lytro camera files.
  • Extended XMP support: XMP-ONYX, XMP-AVM, XMP-PICTURE0, XMP-TPG, XMP-PREMIS, XMP-M, XMP-MIX, XMP-DxO, XMP-onone, XMP-HDRGainMap, XMP-e, XMP-crss, XMP-device and XMP-sy.
  • Improvements: better DNG handling including JXL thumbnails, rational tag editing, Hex dump and Map view fixes, improved special-character handling and better embedded-data extraction.

  • FFmpeg and FFprobe were removed from this release and planned for integration into a separate tool.

  • Added or improved Sony SRF0, SRF1 and SRF5; CanonDR4 and CanonVRD; MetaIFD, Qualcomm, GrphConv and Exif-IFD187 tags.
  • Added GeoLocation in Tiles, Torrent support and several DICOM image types.
